Fall Door Wreath with Cricut
Happy Fall Ya’ll!
This cute little wreath was so fun to make. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the step by step process so this will be a quick post today. To make up for it, I am including a freebie (Yay), so be sure to read all the way to the end.
To make this project you will need the following supplies:
1. Wooden Round – You can typically find these at any home improvement store.
2. Acrylic Paint
3. Paint Brushes
4. Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl
5. Wired Ribbon
6. Fall Floral Items
7. Mod Podge- Your choice of matte or glossy
8. Staple gun and/or Hot glue gun (with staples and/or glue sticks)
9. Cricut Easy Press or Home Iron
10. Cricut Explore, Maker or other electronic cutting machine.
Instructions:
Step 1. Paint your wooden round with the acrylic paint of your choice
Step 2. Cut out your heat transfer design on your electronic cutter and weed out the pieces you don’t need.
Step 3. Place the design sticky side down, cover with parchment paper and press onto your wooden round (make sure the paint is completely dry before you do this step).
Step 4. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge over the entire painted wooden round and let dry.
Step 4. Arrange your floral items on the the wooden round and staple and/or glue into place
Step 5. Make your bow and staple and/or hot glue your bow to the middle of the floral arrangement
Step 6. On the back of the wooden round staple each end of the ribbon to create a hanger.
